Worthing BHA Girls'F.C. was formed at the beginning of the 1995/96 season with the help of Brighton and Hove Albion F.C.'s Football in the Community Scheme (hence the club's BHA suffix).

The club caters for girls from the age of eight upwards and enters a number of teams into the Sussex Girls' Football League, playing home and away matches against other sides in their age group. Our link with Brighton and Hove Albion is maintained as a number of our players have progressed to play ladies football for Brighton.

In the season 2002/2003 we joined forces with the girls from Worthing Town in order that we could enter two league teams, at Under 11s and Under 12s. The majority of the players of both of these teams played Under 11s football during the previous season. This link up was extremely successful as the club made it's first ever appearance in a Cup final when the Under 11s took on Crawley Wasps.

For three seasons prior to 2000/2001 the club organised reciprocal tours to an area near Koblenz in Germany, playing matches against local clubs including Montabaur and visiting the local attractions. We would like to carry on with this arrangement in the future as the links between ourselves and Montabaur are now well established. In the past we have also teamed up with Worthing Borough Council and Worthing Ladies F.C. to enter a team into the annual Sussex Youth Games.
