Kit Sponsorship With the ever increasing running costs of the club we are pleased to announce that Plumbing Trade Supplies (PTS) have agreed to sponsor a new kit for the Under 13s. This has given us the opportunity to change the club’s colours as there are more clubs than ever playing in Yellow Shirts and we are constantly having to use our extremely well worn away kit. For this reason we have gone for a Chilli Red Shirt with Navy and Yellow trim, Navy Shorts and Navy Socks with white trim. It was a week later than we thought but here it is -
I know, the picture is very small !! I didn’t know how to use my camera properly but I’ve sorted it now. Hopefully I’ll get another picture before the Littlehampton game. Special thanks to the girls of Lewes FC who agreed to wear our old kit as theirs is red as well.
That’s Better!

Matches Awarded The league committee sat on Tuesday 19th October and amongst the decisions they had to make were those regarding all postponed matches for all dates prior to the meeting. The Full-Time web site has now been updated to reflect their decisions. (as has this one!!) It would appear that the two home matches scheduled for Saturday 16th October have both been awarded to our teams. Littlehampton were unable to raise a team because they had too many representatives at both Brighton and Southampton Centres of Excellence. Their game against our Under 14s was therefore awarded to us. We had looked into reversing the fixture but could not raise a full team to play on the Sunday. Seahaven Harriers were unable to raise a team as one of their players had a birthday and had invited a number of her team-mates. The Under 13s fixture was, therefore, also awarded to us. The league appear to be attempting to be consistent in their awarding of points and as this is currently not a ‘Sundays only’ league we have benefited in this case. However, it would appear that the league would prefer to go to Sundays only next season and it is likely that the majority of clubs will vote for this. We are currently in talks with the pitch contractors for Worthing Borough Council to see what pitches would be available on Sundays. If it is possible we will try to get a few Sunday games played this season. |

New Kit Sponsorship The club are, once again, pleased to announce that we now have a sponsor for the Under 14s. Brian Turner of Turner Pharmacy in South Farm Road has very kindly offered to support the club and we soon hope to purchase the new club colours of Chilli Red Shirts with Navy and Yellow trim, Navy Shorts and Navy Socks with white trim. Our thanks go to Brian for this very generous offer. The new kit was worn for the first time against Brighton in the cup. Hopefully I will be able to publish a photo soon. |

Get Well Soon Our best wishes go to Kirsty (Under 13s) and Amy C (Under 14s) as they start on the road to recovery. Kirsty was due to go into hospital on the 8th December for her long awaited inner ear operation and will be out of the side for at least 4 weeks. Amy’s injury in the game against Brighton (see Match report for 05/12/04) was worse than originally thought as she broke her nose! As I write this I am unsure how long Amy will be out for but I would assume her next game will probably be in the New Year. |
